Colourpop - All About Lips

Hello Beauties,

At last I am going to blog about the most amazing brand Colourpop. This is a little gem and I am completely in love.

Unfortunately Colourpop do not ship to South Africa but Postbox Couriers have made it possible if you would like to read about how go about click on the link to with Elizabeth H where Lizna has a full blog post.

Today I will be reviewing the lips in the range. I also have some eyeshadows, blush and highlighter but this will be covered in a next review.

Lippie Stix

I have two colours Bichette and Cami.

Bichette is a Matte formula it is a beautiful dark red burgundy colour. It is a very pigmented and wears to a matte finish which is not drying on the lips.

Cami is a Matte X formula which is a new formula that they have launched recently. They describe it as a high intensity full coverage pigment with one stroke application. That is a definitely spot on description of this Lippie Stix. It is a long wearing formula that is very smooth that dries extremely matte but it does not feel drying at all. They sell for $5

Ultra Matte Lip

I have a few colour but my favourite colours have to be Lumiere 2 which is a dusty mauve pink,  Chi a cool tone nude beige and Beeper a warm mid-tone taupe which is believed to be dupe for Kylie Lip Kit in Dolce.  I am completely obsessed with the Ultra Matte Lips, and I find myself reaching for it every morning. I need to remind myself that I have other lips in my make-up collection. Eye shadows have always been my weak point until I was introduced to these beauties. Suddenly lips are my favourite and I even love reaching for some of my other lipstick in my collection and I even get excited to choose a lipcolour for the day.  The Ultra Matt is a very super intense pigment colour with an ultra matte look. It is extremely long wearing and its complete transfer resistant and last for hours on my lips. They sell for $6.

Ultra Satin Lips

I have three colours of the ultra satin lips, Frick ‘n Frack which is rosy terracotta, Eco Park a warm peach nude and Lyin’ King a saturated raspberry. The Ultra Satin Lips are also very pigmented. They dry to a comfortable semi matte but is not complete transfer proof but the staying power is also great. They are not a long wearing as the Ultra Matte lips but they last a good 4 hours on my lips which is definitely a winner as lipsticks don’t last long. They sell for $6.
